I am sorry, I do not mean to be rude but your spelling is highly annoying. Why you spell like this? It does not show you in a good light.
Size has nothing to do with dominance. Male Poodles and Malteses are 10 times more dominant than male great danes or greyhounds. Male beagles are very tempermental and dominant. Labs are somewhere in the middle to low end of the agression/dominance scale.
It sounds like you have two wonderful dogs at home. Though going to an animal shelter makes you want to take them all home, keep in mind...you would have too many dogs to take care of. That's not what is best for them. They are all adorable as puppies...that's why we want them so much.
no larger breeds are not always dominate in the family. have a st.bernard a she is the sweetest thing ever. sure she is big but she doesn't like that she can over power us. she really is a sweetheart. she even treats her "little brother", an australian cattle dog, well. he is only 60 pounds and my st.bernard doesn't seem to care that she is bigger. actually, most big dogs are less tough than small dogs. when we take her to the groomer she shakes and all the little dogs are barking and being tough. big dogs deserve a chance too...good luck:)
I know going to the shelter always makes me want another pet too, but remember that you want to give each of your pets as much love and attention as they deserve. Getting too many pets can take away from the quality affection you can give each animal. You should see if your Dad would be willing to sponsor a dog rather than taking one home.
Good luck.
