Any idea what's wrong with my dog?

Her stomach is bloated and hard, she's been shaking off and on and she's walking kind of funny, kind of waddling around. Any idea what's up?

My elderly dog was doing this, and I took her to the vet. She had never been spayed, and she had an infection of the uterus. She had to have emergency surgery and IV's. She almost died. Take your dog to the vet as soon as you can. It's probably not the same thing, but it sounds serious. Good luck.

Sounds like she is bloating... IF she is, you NEED to go to the vet NOW.. This is a life or death situation.. You need to make sure, see the vet, cause it's not a wait and see type thing..

I would advise you to take her to a vet - my dog got a bloated stomach and was a bit shaky and it turned out to be liver failure ( although he was still running around and playing)

She could have bloat or a bowel obstruction both of which are very very serious. Take her to a vet instead of just looking at her and typing on Yahoo.

has she gotten into the garbage? My dachshund got into the garbage and was walking around like that we gave her a tablespoon of peroxide (advised by the vet) my dog threw up 2 full raw chicken breasts, not even chewed! And 7 full strips of bacon. These were things that we threw away about an hour before she got into the garbage because they were expired. Not advising you to do the same but it is a possibility that she got into a lot of something like the garbage or maybe her dog food.
I would call the vet if I were you.

As you can see from the diversity of these answers - we can't POSSIBLY tell what is wrong without seeing the vet! Plus few people on here are professionals - if they were they woud request you go to the vet because they would know there's nothing useful we can say on here.

PLEASE take the dog to the vet - this does sound serious, particularly if it has happened within the last 24 hours. A hard bloated abdomen can be EXTREMELY dangerous.
