My puppy was not able to poop for a day due to blockage. The trauma caused her to lose tone around her anus and it is now irritated looking and about an inch or two wide. The vet said it is highly possible that it will heal and go back to normal. Has anyone ever had a similar situation?

I've had friends dogs who this have happened to and they've been fine. Some dogs are proned to blockages. Good luck
I've heard of this happening but i've never experienced it myself. Your dog should be fine and heal herself, if not take her back to the vet and see if they recomend any meds. Good Luck.
