Any veterinarians or knowledgeable dog people?

My husband snacks on raw almonds and goldfish crackers. He also tosses them to the dog on a regular basis. Callie, the dog, about 44 pounds, is about 1 and a half years old, all muscle and hasn't had a problem with this snack so far? Some times it includes peanuts too. She is not eating bowls and bowls of them but maybe 15 to 20 pieces combined most nights. She usually does not eat a whole lot- maybe 2 cups of dry Nutro a day. Is this okay for her to snack on? Thanks

I would recommend that you stop tossing your dog nuts as a treat. Nuts are high in phosphorous which can cause bladder stones, so that's something you will want to be very careful with.

I don't see why the Goldfish crackers would harm your dog. However, if your dog has sensitive skin or is allergic to grains (they often cause itchiness in dogs), I would recommend against those as well.
i have heard that almonds are bad for dogs, but not sure why. gold fish crackers should be ok.
not every night they can have it so often for a treat so give it dog food more often and lay off the human food even one a week is okay but at that age it should be once a month or more
well i have 2 dogs and i know that you shouldn't throw the goldfish or nuts to them because it can make hem very sick our dog died because of it but he was no allergic to it so i would recommend to stop
No, this isn't okay. If your husband keeps this up your dog will start getting over weight and will start to cause begging.
If your husband keeps doing this than your dog will not be getting used to its food and will start wanting even more human food.

I would recommend that your dog will only eat it's food and water. You can give your dog fruits and veggies to chow down on but not too much. You shouldn't give your dog anything else but that and treats.
