Hi I'm afraid I live in the uk but couldn't resist answering we have had poms for years,what americans don't realise is we have two breeds over here the toy pom which is the usual sized but we also have another called a victorian pom which is slightly larger,these are not real poms but small versions of the german spitz but the kennel club will only recognise them as poms. We have had both and both are friendly loving breeds.
