Yesterday I took my dog to vets. All the time he was just great (this was his first time in a car). Vet gave him two shots (antibiotics and to lower the fever). On the way back he was also great, however when we returned home he started to run away for us. I gave him his favourite mat to sleep on, but he didn't. I didn't want to chase him around so I just let him be.
Why did he acted like this??
We need to go to vet once again today what can we do to prevent it?

Your dog could be scared. never been in a car can make a dog panic there use with having there feet on the floor.
I would just take him to the vets but before getting back in the car take him for a little wonder around.(give pleanty of praise after %26 before the vets see him) When you get home make sure he is on the lead before getting out of the car. when he gets out the car once again let him have a little sniff about before going in the house, when he gets in just let him be for a little while give him chance to chill after he has had more treatment. If he behaves weird in any way %26 does not settle or come to you a couple hours after being to the vets cll the vet back incase he is having a reaction to the shots.
Call your vet, NOW. Your dog might just be nervous, but he could also be having an allergic reaction to the shots.
he's had a rough time, shame poor thing. I would just spend time with him and confort him, don't let him go and mope. You'll have to get him to the vet even though he hates it but you can spoil him afterwards.
Treats are a good thing. Usually, if I have to make my dogs do something unpleasant-like cleaning their ears, taking them to the vet, or (the one hates baths) giving them a bath-When they're done I will have them sit. While giving them a(one) treat, I will say "Good Boy" in a friendly voice. After the treat I will pet them or play with them a little bit. Usually, they respond well to this and go on their merry way. Occasionally, if they are really worked up I'll give them a second treat and I will continue to pet them and say calming them to them, like "it's ok" or "you're such a good boy" what you say isn't as important as your tone of voice.
Positive reinforcement on a consistent basis is your best way of preventing future problems. Do not let him mope around because it will only reinforce the behavior you do not desire.
